The Smoke-able is a simple, cheap, and affective solution to blacked out mask training evolutions. The cover fits inside the SCBA mask and diffuses the light that enters to make the view more realistic to a haze of smoke in a building that is on fire. Rough shapes and opening with light coming through them (like windows and doors) are noticeable. This feature allows a more realistic training evolutions as firefighters perform searches and communicated, “I have a window to the right sir.” Or “I have a large object in the middle of the room that needs to be searched.” Compared to the old mask cover or flash hoods that are put on backward causing a pitch black and unrealistic experience for training the firefighters of this great nation.
